Texas Hearing Professionals Help Hundreds Of Children Hear

More than 100 children in and around Chapala, Mexico can hear more clearly, many for the first time in their lives, after a team of Texas hearing professionals fit them with hearing aids. ‘Made for iPhone’ Hearing Aids Expected For Release In Early 2014

Apple is tackling a new kind of hearing device. The technology giant has teamed with hearing aid manufacturer GN ReSound to make the first “made for iPhone hearing aid.” The LiNX hearing aid is expected to launch during the first quarter of 2014 Bluetooth technology allows LiNX to connect directly to iPhones. Study Finds Hearing Loss Leads To Health Declines

  Maintaining your hearing health may help keep you out of the hospital. A new study finds that aging adults with hearing loss are more likely be hospitalized, be inactive and depressed. Over 1,100 men and women over the age of 69 were surveyed over a four-year period and tested by teams with Johns Hopkins and the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
